We just finished our 3rd unit in math and are moving on into the 4th unit. Parent letters will be sent home Friday.
School next week M-W. Break from 12/24-1/4. Have an enjoyable and safe winter break! :)

Report cards will be issued this Thursday 11/5.
No School Friday 11/6.
Early Releases- 11/4 and 11/10.

Happy Tuesday! I hope evryone had an enjoyable 3 day weekend. It's time to get back to work here in 3rd grade! This week we will be working on more multiplication skills and our math facts packet will focus on subtracting 10 and 9. We will learn about plural nouns in language arts and the moon phases in science.
Here we go!

We had an awesome week! We worked with our Google Drive accounts, took our Unit 1 math test, learned about using capital letters in language arts, and started our science unit on space. WE have been busy!

We will be easing into our homework routine this week. Each night, your child will have one page of math facts +8 to complete, a math home link worksheet, and to read for 15 minutes.
We will start spelling next week!

Welcome to Third Grade! August 28, 2015

Dear Families,

I hope everyone had a great summer full of adventures, new experiences and time with family and friends. My name is Ashley Chisholm, and I am excited to be your third grade teacher. Lincoln Street School is a wonderful place to be and I am glad you will be here with me. This year we will be learning about so many different topics including Immigration, The Solar System, Biomes, Maps and Globes, Black Americans, and Native Americans. We will also focus on learning our multiplication and division facts. I’m looking forward to working with you and enjoying our third grade year together!
